Sunday Service

5

Wood Green Mennonite Church’s Sunday services have now ended. The final service was held on Sunday 20th March 2016. Please see here for more information on our present situation.

WGMC met at Westbury Avenue Baptist Church every Sunday at 3pm, though occasionally a service would not take place e.g. if WABC were holding an event after their morning service.

Services followed an informal liturgy, with congregational singing and a short sermon. Services normally lasted one hour and fifteen minutes. After service, there was a time for socialising and tea and biscuits.

(The above was amended on 24th March 2016 to reflect WGMC’s recent history.)

      Hi Lisa

You would be welcome to come and check us out! Normally on the last Sunday of the month we have Walking Church but this coming Sunday we’ve had to cancel it and replace it with an informal service where everyone brings a hymn, a prayer, a reading etc etc.

      Blessings

      Dear Agnelo

Thank you for your comment and apologies for the delay in getting back to you. You would be very welcome to join us. Wood Green Mennonite Church services are usually held at Westbury Avenue Baptist Church at 3.00pm every Sunday. The service usually lasts for about 75 minutes and consists of worship, prayers and a sermon. Once a month (usually the first Sunday of the month) we have communion (and no sermon). There are details of how to find the location on this blog and on our Wood Green Mennonite Church facebook page ). We look forward to seeing you.

      Best wishes.

      Hazel (Church administrator)
